Jillian Harris – Dinning Room

September 12, 2016
  • The homeowners requested an open-concept floorplan, as they wanted to have more interaction between the dining area and kitchen. This was accomplished by removing the wall between the dining room and kitchen, which visually doubled the size of the dining area.
  • The custom dining table and bench with modern lines juxtapose the elegant elements of the wall console and tone-on-tone wallpaper to create a well-lived-in feeling for this beautiful and traditional home.
  • The bench is a casual comfort, great for kids to pile up on, and brings practicality to the space.
  • Newly installed flooring is meant to blend in with the black and darker accents of the room, such as the console and black Windsor chairs. The flooring has a heritage-rich feel that ties in with the age of the home as well.
